River Marsh I
Continuing with the marsh series in gouache, this original was painted during “Kim’s Art Show, Episode 4” and measures approximately 6×6” on an 9×12” brown kraft-paper colored Stonehenge archival rag paper. Gouache has a rich and deep matte finish which contrasts well with the soft texture of the paper.
This scene is inspired by the Mill River in Norfolk, MA and shows a meandering river with all the vegetation of the area. Deep blues and beige-y-browns are accented with notes of coral and truest lavender. Final touches in archival colored pencil further define the work.
The painting is unframed, allowing for you to design framing to your taste. Local pick up is available for those near Norfolk, MA.
