This original pastel “When the Colors Would Sing” is taken from my experience in painting marshes and nocturnes and is of no specific place, rather being a combination of all the places that have been my inspiration.
Nighttime holds a special magic, as does the marsh. Combining them here resulted in this sparkly, tactile painting.
